She was self-conscious and worried that training too often made her "too skinny" (when she first gained some lean muscle, she still looked "flat and thin" next to other wrestlers) so she tried to gain a lot of lean weight but it doesn't cover her spine, especially in person.

She trains with her spotter's knee/fists on her spine to try to make it stick out less.

Thankfully, that hasn't worked and even with the muscle gain, I saw her spine bumps in person and you can see the curve outward here:
