this gets me.
sometimes you can guess how much her spine sticks out but other times you don't see it coming.

one girl who played a lot of sports had the kind that was more hidden, I would more of the muscles on the sides even when she bends over with clothes on. you just see the shapes of the side muscles and a space where the spine would be, so I just thought she had the kind you couldn't see. the first time I saw her wear something with her back open, i couldn't believe how much her spine would show.
the muscles on the sides stuck out more but there was zero fat or muscle over that spine itself.

Quote from: BFG1000 on January 06, 2021, 07:13:38 AMthis other girl who always had a wider body type but her spine area was "hollowed out" all the time. her legs were a bit thicker and she was pretty short so people would even think she was a bit chubby with clothes on. but every summer when we'd go to the beach, friends would make comments about how she "lost weight" even though she stayed the same. most people immediately think that when you can see every bump on a girl's spine i guess. when she really did lose some weight once, i could seriously see the gaps between the bumps even when she stood up straight. when she bent over, it stuck out enough that you could see it through a sweater.

I always thought I was the only one that notices this. A really short girl I knew at work always looked a little stocky, not really chubby but average in sweat shirts that covered everything, but in the summer, she would wear a sports bra with loose pants so her lower back was just out in the open all day and I just kept noticing how you can count the vertebrae in her thoracic spine area when she didn't even bend over. Every time she moved, you could just see her spine moving around under her skin. My coworkers all thought she just lost a lot of weight because you really just can't not notice that spine. But they all talked about it like she looked good BUT the bones in her back was too much or something.

The next time she was back wearing winter clothes, she looked just like before but then I started noticing how much you could see her spine when she bent over even when she wore a thick sweatshirt. It just made the rest of her look thicker but her spine was always like that.
