People usually say she lost a lot of weight in 1960s and that's when she overall looked thinner, but apparently she was naturally quite thin, she just had a gall bladder condition in the 50s.

Ironically, this was from the period when she was curvier so her spine was always lean:



This was an outtake from Misfits. They avoided showing her mid/lower spine in that position, sadly...
